Louise Dox

Louise Edwards Dox, 89, of Butler died Friday at Sunnyview Home.

Born Jan. 20, 1918, in Flint, Mich., she was a daughter of David and Lucy Lewis Edwards.

She was a homemaker and an accomplished artist and musician.

Her husband, Frank Ludwig Dox, whom she married in 1936, died Dec. 25, 1995.

Surviving are a son, Frank D. Dox of Boardman, Ohio; two daughters, Louise Tanner of Butler and Linda Weston of Charlevoix, Mich.; a brother, Donald Edwards of Linden, Mich.; a sister, Lois Skellenger of Grand Blanc, Mich.; six grandchildren, Lucy, Eliese, Charles, Gregory, Daniel and Eric; and 12 great-grandchildren, Austin, Dylan, Olivia, Benjamin, Charles, Lana Rose, Caroline, Frank, Jack, Matthew, Andrew and Thomas.

<B>Dox </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Louise Edwards Dox, who died Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Alden Towberman, pastor of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating.Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Pittsburgh.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
