Scott, Matonak
Krista Scott and Joel Matonak, both of Allison Park, were united in marriage June 2 at Community Alliance Church. The Rev. Bill Opperman officiated. A reception followed at the Days Inn.
The bride is the daughter of Tim and Pam Scott of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Jimmy and Bonnie Matonak of Butler.
The honor attendant was Nicole Kaspari of Dayton, Ohio. Bridesmaids included Jessica Hoffman of Moon Township, Lacey Mirarchi of South Park, Stephanie Trathowen of Plum and Katherine Sylvia and Erica Miller, both of Butler.
The flower girl was Hallie Henricks of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Josh Matonak of Butler. Ushers included Brent Fehl, Levi Smith, Alex Evanoff, Ron Lenhart and Alex Green Barg, all of Butler.
The ring bearers were Jayden and Dawson Henricks of Butler.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Butler High School, a 2011 graduate of Slippery Rock University with a bachelor’s degree and a 2012 graduate of Slippery Rock University with a master’s degree in education.
The bridegroom graduated from Butler High School in 2008 and Moody Bible Institute in Chicago in 2012.
He is employed by Allegheny Center Alliance Church.
Following a honeymoon trip to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic, the couple is making their home in Allison Park.
