Santolla, Ramirez
Katie Santolla and Robert Ramirez, both of Butler, were united in marriage Aug. 6 at Maple Lane Farm in Mercer. The Rev. John Spencer officiated. A reception followed at Maple Lane Farm.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Debie Santolla of St. Augustine, Fla. Parents of the bridegroom are Salvador and Dee Ramirez of Butler.
The honor attendant was Jessica Niggel of Wexford. Bridesmaids included Natasha Bean of Elkland and Megan Sheakley, Alexis Ramirez and Tasha Ramirez, all of Butler.
The flower girls were Heidi Santolla and Madison Niggel, both of Wexford.
Performing the duties of best man was Michael Guentner of Butler. Ushers included Jim Niggel of Wexford, Tyler Bean of Elkland, Brian Baron of Daytona, Fla., and Trevor Swidzinski of Evans City.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Butler High School and a 2010 graduate of Slippery Rock University with a degree in secondary English education.
She is employed as a teacher at Lifesteps Early Education Center in Jackson Township.
The bridegroom graduated from Butler High School in 2005. He is the general manager of Vitamin World.
The couple is making their home in Butler
