Women’s SoccerKara Mullins and Stephanie Buckenheimer each tallied goals to lead the SRU squad to a 3-0 victory over Wheeling Jesuit Saturday.SRU (10-3-2) had its other come via an own goal. The win also gave coach Noreen Herlihy her 16th consecutive season of 10 or more victories.Emer Flatley and Shelby Ward chipped in with assists for SRU.
FootballGrove City College accumulated 340 yards of total offense and 21 first downs, but six turnovers, led to a 23-7 Presidents’ Athletic Conference defeat to Geneva College Saturday.Grove City had two turnovers inside the Geneva 20-yard line and could not score on two trips inside the Geneva 5-yard line.Blaine Miller led the Wolverines with 123 yards on 21 attempts and one score and had a team-high four passes for 66 yards.
