4:10 p.m. Tuesday — An inmate at SCI-Cambridge Springs, who police identified only as a 46-year-old woman, is suspected of sending a threatening letter from the state prison in Crawford County to a 60-year-old woman in Harrisville. Police continue to investigate the case.6:25 a.m. Tuesday — An unidentified light-colored pickup truck sideswiped a school bus on Boyers Road in Marion Township and did not stop after the crash. Police said the pickup's left side-view mirror struck the bus' left side-view mirror.Bus driver Kathryn Smith, 53, of Butler, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. Two passengers — a 12-year-old girl and a 27-year-old student aide — were not injured.4:36 a.m. Monday — A box van driven by Joseph Mongelluzzo, 53, of Pittsburgh skidded on an ice patch on Route 268 in Parker Township, went off the road and struck a utility pole. Mongelluzzo, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.Monday — Several vehicles were broken into between midnight and 9 a.m. at the Sunbury Fields apartments in Center Township. Police said all the vehicles were unlocked.

12:50 a.m. Nov. 27 — Kenneth McCullough, 32, of Petrolia was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Pine Hill Road and Sedwick Street in West Kittanning, Armstrong County.

5:35 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Richard Freeman, 55, of Grove City skidded off snow-covered Route 62 in Jefferson Township, Mercer County, striking a mailbox and utility pole. Freeman, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated for a shoulder injury at Sharon Regional Hospital.
