Workshop slated for Tree TendersBUTLER TWP — Penn State Extension will host a Tree Tenders workshop from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 8 at the park building at Butler Township Park, 468 S. Duffy Road.The Tree Tenders program will empower residents to restore and care for trees in the community.The training will include presentations and demonstrations on tree biology, urban tree stresses, tree identification, tree planting and pruning and community organizing.The registration deadline is April 1.
