SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

Laura Ainsworth, 24, of Kittanning waived to court charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, driving without a valid license and driving with a suspended license, filed Feb. 8 by state police.

Melinda Bateman, 32, of Pittsburgh waived to court charges of driving under the influence, filed March 14 by state police.

Megan Donnelly, 18, of Sarver waived to court charges of theft, receiving stolen property, forgery, and three counts each of conspiracy and bad checks, filed Feb. 8 by state police.

Michael Edmunds, 19, of Sarver was held for court in two separate complaints on charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, careless driving, failing to immediately notify police of an accident, possession of a controlled substance and a small amount of marijuana; both complaints were filed March 27 by state police.

Joseph McCartney, 49, of Brackenridge, Allegheny County, waived to court charges of driving with a suspended license, being a habitual offender of driving under suspension, and a traffic control violation, filed Feb. 8 by Buffalo Township police.

Samuel Lee Miller Sr., 23, of Pittsburgh was held for court on charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, filed Feb. 22 by state police.

Casey Montgomery, 19, of Saxonburg waived to court charges of theft, receiving stolen property, forgery, and three counts each of conspiracy and bad checks, filed Feb. 8 by state police.

Eric Moorehead, 33, of Kittanning waived to court a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Feb. 8 by state police.

Zachary Norris, 22, of Gibsonia was held for court on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed March 3 by Buffalo Township police.

Richard Seybert, 44, of Saxonburg waived to court charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed Jan. 30 by state police.

David Yorkey Jr., 42, of Sarver was held for court on charges of DUI, driving too fast for conditions, a lane violation, and not wearing a seat belt, filed Feb. 22 by sate police.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases:David Barrett, 19, of Boyers waived to court six counts of theft, filed March 1 by state police.Patrick Duncan, 26, of Butler pleaded guilty to charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license-DUIrelated, filed April 1 by state police. He was ordered to pay $814 in fines and court costs.Robert Duffield, 23, of Slippery Rock was held for court on charges of driving under the influence, speeding, careless driving, failure to keep right, and limitation on driving on the left, filed March 12 by state police.Richard Haley Jr., of Butler, pleaded guilty to a bad check charge, filed Aug. 8, 1998, in a private complaint by Stone &Co. He was ordered to pay $622.57 in court costs and restitution.David Jones of Pittsburgh pleaded guilty to two counts of bad checks, filed Sept. 1 in a private complaint by Jerry Boros. He was ordered to pay $1,559.87 in fines, court costs and restitution.Tina Kidd of Butler pleaded guilty to four counts of bad checks, filed March 13 by Giant Eagle. He was ordered to pay $1,210.08 in fines, court costs and restitution.Larry Lint, of Parker, was held for court on a bad check charge filed Dec. 1 in a private complaint by Byron Henderson.Nancy Moorhead of Butler pleaded guilty to five counts of bad checks, filed Dec. 28, Jan. 27 and March 28 by three businesses. She was ordered to pay $988.65.Jeremy Speicher, 20, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, underage drinking, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without a license and failure to keep right, filed Feb. 2 by state police.William Whitlach IV, 18, of West Sunbury pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana, filed Feb. 27 by state police. He was ordered to pay $538.50 in fines and court costs.

WORTH TWP, Mercer County — District Judge Lawrence Silvis recently heard these cases:Jeremy Lee Robinson, 28, of Dilliner pleaded guilty to charges of driving under the influence filed by Grove City police Nov. 30.Carl W. Hodge, 47, of 506 Bessemer St., Grove City, had his case held for court. Grove City police charged Hodge Feb. 23 with driving under the influence and exceeding maximum speed limit.Jonathan Edward Cropcho, 23, of Stoneboro had his case held for court. Grove City police charged Cropcho March 29 with corruption of minors, indecent exposure, open lewdness and harassment.Erica Lynn Semple, 28, of 1934 Georgetown Road, Harrisville, had her case held for court. State police in Mercer charged Semple March 2 with two counts of driving under the influence, driving at safe speed, disregard traffic lane, operating vehicle without required financial responsibility and fail to use safety belt system.Rusty Eugene Guthrie, 46, of 560 Grove City Road, Slippery Rock, had his case held for court. State police in Mercer charged Guthrie Feb. 28 with two counts of driving under the influence, driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked, disregard traffic lane, careless driving and fail to use safety belt.
