James and MaryAnn Paserba of Meridian celebrated 45 years of marriage recently with a family dinner. The also celebrated with a trip to Aruba that included a Mass at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Oranjestad.

Paserba married the former MaryAnn Bodesheim June 24, 1963, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. Matthew Dougherty officiated.

They have three daughters, Joyce Lesser, Marlene Protivnak and Stacie Roxberry, all of Butler.

They also have six grandchildren.

Paserba is retired from AKSteel.

Mrs. Paserba is a retired nurse who worked for Butler Memorial Hospital.

The Paserbas are members of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
