James and MaryAnn Paserba

James and MaryAnn Paserba of Meridian celebrated 50 years of marriage with a Mass at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Butler, with Rev. Harry Bielewicz officiating, followed by a family dinner. The Paserbas will also celebrate with a Caribbean vacation in the fall.

Paserba married the former MaryAnn Bodesheim on June 24, 1963, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have three daughters, Joyce Lesser, Marlene Protivnak and Stacie Roxberry, all of Butler.

They also have six grandchildren.Paserba retired from AK Steel.

Mrs. Paserba retired as a registered nurse from Butler Memorial Hospital.

The Paserbas are members of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
