These items have been collected from various police departments across Western Pennsylvania.

7:51 p.m. Thursday - Brian Blake, 33, of 215 McClain Ave. was charged with simple assault after a confrontation with his wife. Police examined Lisa Blake, 22, and found bruises on her arm and on her back. Police later found Brian Blake on North Main Street Extension and took him into custody. He was arraigned by District Judge Pete Shaffer and released from Butler County Prison on $1,000 bond.3:35 p.m. Thursday - Vehicles driven by Travis Rattigan, 17, of East Rockenstein Avenue and Lonnie Birkbichler, 39, of 206 E. Patterson Ave. collided at the intersection of South Main and Campbell streets.

4:30 p.m. Friday - Vehicles driven by Paul Keil Jr., 52, of Valencia and Jackie McElravy, 28, of Petrolia collided on Fairview Road in Washington Township. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and no one was injured.6 p.m. Thursday - Cynthia Best, 22, of Parker lost control of her vehicle on Arrowhead Road in Allegheny Township and struck an embankment.5:05 p.m. Thursday - A vehicle driven by Brian Yard, 34, of Slippery Rock struck a state police car driven by trooper Eric Sipes, 36, of Butler on Route 8 in Mercer Township. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. Yard had a minor wrist injury and was cited for following too closely.3:36 p.m. Thursday - A 2002 Chevy pickup driven by Jim Nimerosky, 47, of Ford City struck a school bus driven by Sandra Mickey, 56, of Butler on Route 228 in Clinton Township. The school bus was carrying nine children and was struck while it was stopped for unloading. No one was injured. Nimerosky was cited for a motor vehicle violation.3:35 p.m. Thursday - Vehicles driven by Ruth Thomas, 50, of Butler and Arthur Bishop, 74, of Chicora collided on Route 68 in Summit Township. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. Laura Bishop, 68, a passenger in the Bishop vehicle, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital where she was treated for a minor shoulder injury and released. Thomas was cited for a motor vehicle violation.3:20 p.m. Thursday - Sheryl Doerr, 42, of Butler lost control of her vehicle on snow-covered Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township and struck an overpass.3:06 p.m. Vehicles driven by Michael Nicolazzo, 72, and Shannon Williams, 26, both of Butler, collided on Route 8 in Penn Township.

12:50 a.m. Saturday - A 17-year old girl who lost control of her vehicle on Riegle School Road in Toby Township faces a driving under the influence charge. The girl, who was not wearing a seatbelt, told state police she lost control answering a text message on her cell phone. The car struck a tree and began to flip, and she was thrown from the car. It came to rest on its roof, pinning the girl under the windshield. The girl was taken to Clarion Hospital where officers noticed she smelled of alcohol. There was no information on her condition.
