Evangelist Mark Rogers of Fairbanks, Alaska, will be both singing and preaching at the Sunday services Calvary Baptist Church, 199 Great Belt Road.
CHRIST COMMUNITY U.M.
Father's Day will be celebrated during weekend worship services at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road. Long-distance phone cards purchased for our military personnel will be dedicated.
Don Boardman Sr., who recently completed the Butler District Lay Ministry School, will lead weekend worship services. Men of the congregation will assist with the service.
CHRIST'S OUTREACH
Plans have been set for the July Fourth celebration at Christ's Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave. A PraiseFest, including music, balloons, face-painting, clowns and refreshments, will be held from 6:30 p.m. until the fireworks.
Softball participants should meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the church.
COVENANT PRESBY
New elected officers of Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will be installed during the Sunday worship service. Carnation boutonnieres will be presented to all men of the congregation during the service.
FIRST BAPTIST
The Musical Merrills, a family ensemble, will conduct a vacation Bible school program June 19-23 at First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St. VBS sessions will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Registration will be from 6 to 6:15 p.m. Monday.
FIRST U.M.
The Youth Ensemble of First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., will perform during the 8:20 and 10:50 a.m. Sunday services.
A chicken and biscuit dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Epworth Center.
FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN
Volunteers from First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., are needed to escort residents, visit with residents, work with pet therapy, arts and crafts and special functions at St. John Specialty Care Center. To volunteer, call 724-625-4756.

The Praise Team will perform at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St. Vacation Bible school participants will lead the children's time at the service.
A trip to the Heinz History Center will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 6. Cost is $7.50 for adults, $6 for seniors, $3 for youth ages 6 to 18 and free for children younger than 6. Registration is available at the church office or by calling the Rev. John Porter.
Volunteers are needed to staff the office during vacation time in July.
NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES
During the Sunday service, senior pastor, the Rev. Chris Marshall will present an update on "Come Let Us Build." New Life Christian Ministries, Knoch School Auditorium, 345 Knoch Road, Saxonburg, has an agreement to purchase property at 127 Knoch Road, Clinton Township. The CLUB update will share information on the progress being made by the Nehemiah Team regarding financing and site development.
Members of the family and youth mission teams will be commissioned at the 10 a.m. worship celebration. Fernando Redo also will be commissioned for mission service at the 10 a.m. worship celebration.

NORTH MAIN ST. CHURCH OF GOD
A father/daughter camp fire for youth in grades 6 through 12 at North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Ext., will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the home of the Gruvers. For information, call the church office at 724-285-4214.

Sixty Plus or Minus will hold an extra June event in Fellowship Hall 2 with guests the Rev. Eduardo Viray and Dr. Ofelia Viray. The Virays will speak about the Church of God and their work with children in the Philippines. Participants should take a tureen to share.
A small group leader's rally will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilson Residence. The evening is open to adults interested in leading or hosting a small group, and it will include swimming, dinner and information.

The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated at the 10 a.m. Sunday service at Rider Lutheran Church, 189 Rider Church Road, West Sunbury. The installation of the vacation Bible school staff also will be held.

The annual outdoor service of White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church, 102 Shannon Road, Renfrew, will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at Connoquenessing Community Park. A picnic will follow. Participants should take a dish to share, table service and folding chairs. Dress is casual.
