Frederick L. 'Rudy'Jackson
Frederick L. "Rudy" Jackson, 57, of Beaver Falls died Thursday at Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford.
Born Dec. 1, 1949, in Beaver Falls, he was the son of Irene Crayton Cherry of Harrisburg and the late Frederick Jackson.
Mr. Jackson was an Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War and was awarded a Bronze Star Medal.
He worked for 30 years as a postal worker at the Bulk Mail Center in Cranberry Township. He also was a well-recognized disc jockey in the tri-state area and was known as "R.J. the D.J."
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Shawn L. Jackson of Rochester; two daughters, Desiree Nicole Jackson of Washington, Pa., and Laiken Dolan of Beaver Falls; a granddaughter, Paige Nicole Willis; his companion, Tina Dolan of Beaver Falls; five sisters, Jolynn Wilborn of West Virginia, Brenda Davis of Pittsburgh, June Davis of Las Vegas, N.V., Lydia Davis of Harrisburg, and Julie Davis of Pittsburgh, and two brothers, Myles Davis and Larry Davis, both of Harrisburg.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janeane Davis.
<B>Jackson</B> — There will be no visitation for Frederick L. "Rudy" Jackson, who died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007.
