SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:
Jacky Francois, 55, of Valencia waived to court a charge of driving under the influence, filed June 21 by state police.
Peter Serbin, Jr., 41, of Kittanning waived to court charges of driving under the influence and careless driving, filed July 19 by state police.
Brian Sprague, 23, of Freeport pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Aug. 9 by Buffalo Township police. Sprague was sentenced to pay $341.50 in fines and court costs.
Jonathan Wagner, 47, of Lower Burrell waived to court charges of driving on the wrong side of road and driving under the influence, filed Aug. 14 by Saxonburg police.
CRANBERRY TWP — Senior District Judge Joseph O'Donnell recently heard these cases filed by Cranberry Township police:Katherine M. Teets, 46, of Cabot had her case held to court. She was charged May 20 with driving under the influence of alcohol.Scott A. Weber, 43, of Apollo waived his case to court. He was charged June 11 with conspiracy to commit fraud and giving false reports.David L. Gobble II, 30, of Monroeville waived his case to court. He was charged July 24 with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.Charles H. Steele III, 27, of Harmony waived his case to court. He was charged July 30 with possession of drug paraphernalia.Rory R. Rieger, 22, of Butler waived his case to court. He was charged July 30 with driving under the influence of alcohol.Gary J. Palacios, 34, of McKees Rocks waived his case to court. He was charged Aug. 28 with receiving stolen property.John Thomas Smathers III, 19, of Cranberry Township waived his case to court. He was charged Aug. 7 with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.Antoin Cobbs, 41, of an unknown address waived his case to court. He was charged Sept. 4 with forgery, theft by unlawful taking and identity theft.Joel Ellis Folk, 21, of Butler had his case held to court. He was charged Aug. 6 with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Fair, 19, of Oil City waived to court charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, filed Aug. 4 by state police.Donald L. Layton, Jr., 42, of Jamestown, Pa., waived to court charges of simple assault and harassment, filed Aug. 12 by state police.Nicholas Oesterling, 24, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Aug. 29 by state police. He was sentenced to pay $246.50 in fines and court costs.Douglas Wetzel, Jr., 24, of Fenelton was held for court on two charges of indecent assault and one charge of corruption of minors, filed Sept. 3 by state police.
