Anna Ferrere of Forestville celebrated her 80th birthday recently with a family dinner at her home.

The former Anna Kale was born Jan. 27, 1929, in Grove City. She married Regis Ferrere on Oct. 1, 1949.

She has seven children, Regis Ferrere of Forestville, Rita Ferrere of Forestville, Joyce Flinner of Prospect, Karen Schmidt of Spring, Texas; Paula Maloney of Greenville; Ronald Ferrere of Butler and Diane Merkle of Grove City. She also has four grandchildren.

Mrs. Ferrere is a homemaker and has enjoyed cooking, baking and canning food. She also enjoys playing bingo. She belongs to St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, where she was a member of the former Christian Mothers.
