Registration sought for holiday program
The St. Vincent de Paul Society, 400 E. Locust St, is now accepting registration for its Christmas basket program, which provides food baskets for families in need.
Registration will be accepted from 9 a.m. to noon through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 20 through 22.
Baskets will be distributed from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 16.

LANCASTER TWP — The Lancaster Township Historical Records Committee will host its annual Old Home Day from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the community center in Middle Lancaster.The program will focus on the history of St. John's Lutheran Old Stone Church and other township churches.Jewel Watson, last surviving teacher from the township's one-room schools, will be the guest for the event.Participants should take items of interest or memories to share.
