The Butler Beauty School, 233 S. Main St., will host its annual Santa Snipper event from noon to 5 p.m. Dec. 3.
Hair stylists will offer haircuts at the school for a $5 donation. Proceeds benefit the Victims Outreach Intervention Center.

ADAMS TWP — The township will host Pictures in the Park with Santa Claus from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 10 in the Rotary Shelter at Adams Township Park.Photos with Santa will be taken in front of the shelter's new fireplace. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served and participating children can make their own ornament.Photographs will be available for purchase
BRADY TWP — The Old Stone House will host its annual Candlelight Christmas Tour from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and Dec. 2 and from noon to 5 p.m. Dec. 3.Each room in the historic homestead will be decorated by a different florist or craft dealer.
BUTLER TWP — A Families Forever seminar, hosted by Lifesteps and Family Services of Butler Memorial Hospital, will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 6 at Lifesteps, 383 New Castle Road.The seminar will focus on minimizing the effects of divorce on children.A program for children in grades one through six will be held simultaneously.Cost is $50 for adults and free for children. FOXBURG — The Foxburg Borough Council will host a light-up night at 5 p.m. Friday.The event will begin near the Foxburg Free Library Entrance.Fire truck rides will be available throughout the evening. The event will feature strolling carolers, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus and special events planned by businesses.Notices, in writing, of festivals, fundraising events, newly elected officers and other news from clubs and nonprofit groups should be sent to the Focus department one week in advance of the event.
