FENELTON — A pancake and buckwheat cake breakfast, bake sale and Chinese auction will be held from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Happy Hunters Sportsmen Club, Clearfield-Fenelton Road.
Cost for the breakfast is $5 per person. Proceeds will help pay for medical costs for the family of Bruce McGregor, who suffered complications after an open-heart surgery.
The Mental Health Association is now accepting reservations for a dinner celebrating its 51st anniversary.The dinner will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church Social Hall, 127 Franklin St.The speaker for the event will be Dennis Barger, creator of the Starfish Programs. SARVER — The Intermediate League of Butler will hold its closing dinner Monday at J-Barn Country Inn. A social time will begin at 6 p.m. and dinner will follow at 6:30 p.m.President Karen Geary, group officers, and chairpersons will be recognized and new members will be initiated. Entertainment will be provided by Jim Anderson following dinner.
CONNOQUENESSING TWP — The annual Kids Day America, sponsored by Care Chiropractic Center, will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Butler Farm Show Grounds.The event includes children's activities, health screenings and a child identification service.Admission is free and proceeds raised at the event will benefit the Lifesteps Family Caring Fund.
EVANS CITY — A rummage sale will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 202 Van Buren St.A spaghetti dinner will also be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. An offering will be accepted for the dinner. Takeouts are available.Proceeds from the dinner will help finance youth going to Camp Lutherlyn.
