BUTLER TWP — Lifesteps' Child Check team will conduct free screenings for children from birth to age 5 from 9 a.m. to noon March 7 at the Butler YMCA, 339 N. Washington St., and from 8 a.m. to noon March 21 at Lifesteps, 383 New Castle Road.Visits take about 30 minutes and results are discussed immediately. The screening looks at the child's development in the areas of playing, talking, seeing, hearing, moving and thinking. Appointments are recommended but not required.
