BUTLER TWP — A Families Forever seminar will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 16 at Lifesteps, 200 Stirling Village Drive. Enrollment closes two weeks prior.

Free child check offeredLifesteps’ will offer free child check screenings on the following dates:• 9 a.m. to noon July 11, YMCA, 339 N. Washington St.• 8 a.m. to noon July 18, Lifesteps Butler County Program Center, 383 New Castle Road.The free screening for children from birth to age 5 evaluates development in playing, talking, seeing, hearing, moving and thinking. Babysitting courses set BUTLER TWP — American Red Cross baby-sitting classes will be offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 20 and Aug. 17 at Alameda Park. Participants must be at least 11 years old.
