Vodenichar, Malpass
KayLeigh Vodenichar and Neil Malpass, both of Richmond, Va., were united in marriage Oct. 27 at First English Lutheran Church in Butler. The Rev. Matt Lorish and the Rev. James Dollhopf officiated. A reception followed at the Butler Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Ron and Linda Vodenichar of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Blake and Sam Malpass of Goldsboro, N.C., and Patricia Malpass of Destin, Fla.
The honor attendant was Kat Mahoney of Las Vegas, Nev. Bridesmaids included Kelly Miller, Kristine Malpass, Missy Karski, Megan Opperman, Megan Hanna and Joanne Martelli.
The flower girls were Renee Eggar, Lucy Thompson, Gabi Eggar and Maria Farias.
Performing the duties of best man was Trent Jarvis of Tallahassee, Fla. Ushers included Zach Wells, Daniel Diaz, Zack Morris, Luke Tucker, Andrew Franco and Justin Mulligan.
The ring bearers were Alex Eggar, Isaiah Thompson, Simon Farias and Micah Thompson.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Butler High School and a 2008 graduate of Florida State University.
She is employed by Bizport in Richmond, Va.
The bridegroom graduated from Niceville High School in Florida in 2003. He received a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in 2008 and a master’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012.
He is employed by Capital One in Richmond, Va.
Following a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple is making their home in Richmond, Va.
