7:43 p.m. Saturday - A vehicle driven by Michael Holuba, 29, of Butler struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Sandra Kuriger, 43, of Butler on Race Street at the South Chestnut Street intersection. Holuba was charged with driving under the influence. No one was injured.3:49 p.m. Saturday - Patricia Gress, 37, of Boyers was stopped while driving on Main Street and failed a sobriety test. Driving under the influence charges will be filed.12:25 a.m. Saturday - David Pfennigwerth, 42, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Jefferson Street.3:56 a.m. Sunday - Ronald Earnest, 41, of Butler was stopped while driving on West Wayne Street and failed a sobriety test. Driving under the influence charges will be filed.
4:30 a.m. Saturday - A truck driven Benjamin Campbell, 19, of Slippery Rock hit a guide rail and a struck a utility pole at the intersection of West Park Road and West Liberty Road in Worth Township. Campbell was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. West Penn Power repaired the lines.4:57 p.m. Saturday - Vehicles driven by Goldie Hinkle, 59, of Portersville and Hugh McCellan, 25, collided on West Portersville Road near Route 19. No one was injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.6:30 a.m. Friday - Mianos Welding on Oneida Valley Road in Butler reported the theft of about $250 worth of scrap aluminum sometime after 6 p.m. on Thursday. Anyone with information about the theft should contact the state police at 724-284-8100.9:40 p.m. Sunday - A life-sized statue of Ronald McDonald was discovered in front of a Dutchtown Road residence in Penn Township. No McDonald's restaurants have reported a missing statue. Any store owner missing a statue is asked to contact the state police at 724-284-8100.2:37 a.m. Sunday - A vehicle driven by Robert Kane, 37, of Evans City struck a parked car on Spithaler School Road near T.J.'s Hideaway in Forward Township. The impact caused the parked car to travel 23 feet. After Kane's vehicle became disabled, he fled. Various charges relating to the accident were filed.1:15 a.m. Sunday - Keith Wright, 37, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Winfield Road in Jefferson Township.
10 p.m. Friday, April 8 - Roland Askerneese, 48, of Penn Hills was charged with driving under the influence on Route 80 in Pine Township.
