Naomi and James Beatty

James and Naomi Beatty of Prospect will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Beatty married the former Naomi Bicker on Feb. 15, 1950, at Zion United Methodist Church in Sarver.

They have three children, Thomas Beatty of Eugene, Ore., Kathryn Mulneix of Butler and Robert Beatty of Red Lion, Pa.

They also have six grandchildren.

Beatty is retired from Chubb Life Insurance Company. He is also the founder of the Prospect Boys Club.

Mrs. Beatty is retired from Butler Hospital, where she worked as a registered nurse.

The Beattys attend Zion Baptist Church in Prospect.
