1:31 a.m. Thursday — Jason Eugene Anthony, 35, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Bullcreek Road. Police said Anthony also was cited for running a red light and driving on the wrong side of the road.

4:05 p.m. Thursday — Vehicles driven by Brooke LeighAnn Kirsch, 26, of Harmony and David Barnes, 25, of New Brighton, Beaver County, collided on North Main Street.1:53 a.m. Feb. 18 — Police received a report of a utility pole on fire in the area of 118 S. Division St. It was discovered that the pole's guy wire was striking the live overhead wire, causing sparking. The problem later was repaired.

6:59 a.m. Tuesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Brittanie Eggan, 29, of Pittsburgh crashed onto its roof after sliding off slush-covered Interstate 79 in Worth Township. Eggan was treated at Grove City Medical Center for minor injuries. Police said she was cited for a lane violation.3:30 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Clifton Britt Sr., 71, of Butler hit a tree after sliding off snow-covered Route 487 in Middlesex Township.8:30 p.m. Monday — John Lusk, 46, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 308 and Holyoke Road in Center Township.Monday — A metal safe, currency and collectable coins were stolen between 8:20 a.m. and 6 p.m. during a burglary at the Randolph Avenue home of Thomas Whelan in East Butler.Sunday — Abarn star valued at $40 was taken from the Central Avenue home of Peggie Ann Smith in Chicora.4:30 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Danyle Verzinskie, 45, of Butler struck a cement barrier on Route 528 in Franklin Township.3:45 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Jessica Guerrieri, 21, of Girard, Ohio, struck a tree along New Castle Road in Worth Township. Police said Guerrieri, who suffered minor injuries, was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.11 a.m. Feb. 20 — A car driven by Patrick Bashline, 38, of Kittanning struck the rear of an SUV on Route 356 in Butler Township. The crash pushed the SUV driven by Gary L. Peters, 60, of Lyndora into the rear of a car driven by Patricia Learn, 36, of Prospect.

1 p.m. Sunday — Police recovered a stolen minivan on Hermlock Road in Wolf Creek Township. The green, Plymouth Voyager was reportedly stolen between 2 p.m. Feb. 17 and 4:40 a.m. Feb. 18 from Kennedy Diversified on Route 8 in Slippery Rock Township, Butler County.4 p.m. Saturday — Theodore Johnson, 52, of Pittsburgh is accused of taking about $230 in merchandise from several stores at Prime Outlets in Springfield Township. Police said Johnson was cited for retail theft.1:40 a.m. Saturday — Andrew Paul Jones, 28, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle got stuck in snow after skidding off Old Ash Road between Routes 208 and 258 in Springfield Township. Police said Jones also was cited for driving too fast for conditions and careless driving.8:13 p.m. Feb. 18 — A car driven by Mark Schilling, 25, of Jackson Center collided with a sport utility vehicle after skidding on ice-covered Route 58 in Pine Township. Tammy McDivitt, 30, of Mercer was driving the SUV.
