John Clyde Bobbert, 68, of Summerville in Limestone Township, Clarion County, died at 6:42 p.m. Friday of injuries suffered in a traffic accident in Sandy Lake.

Born Feb. 4, 1940, in Huey, he was a son of the late Edward and Florence Booher Bobbert.

He was a retired miner and had worked throughout Western Pennsylvania.

Mr. Bobbert was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed family time.

He is survived by a brother, Thomas Wilson Bobbert of Butler; two sisters, Nancy Bobbert Goodrich of Chocowinity, N.C. and Rosetta Marie Bobbert of Summerville; three stepchildren; nine step grandchildren; four nieces; eight nephews; and 24 great-nieces and great-nephews. He also is survived by two very close friends, Tammy Smith and Lawrence Brown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Eugene Bobbert; a brother-in-law, William Eugene Libengood; and a sister-in-law, Brenda Vlassich Bobbert.

He will be missed by all who loved him, and they will all wait in hopes of seeing him on the other side.

<B>BOBBERT</B> — Friends of John Clyde Bobbert, who died Friday, April 18, 2008, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. today at <B>Robert V. Burns Funeral Home</B>, 638 Wood St., Clarion. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Varnum Cemetery, near North Washington.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
