A Lyndora woman pleaded guilty in Butler County Court on Tuesday to allowing her apartment to be used by another person to sell drugs.

Lydia M. Bowman, 43, admitted to allowing Brandon M. Johnson-Jetter, 35, of Homestead, Allegheny County, to use the apartment to sell drugs. When asked, Bowman admitted to making a statement to police to that effect.

According to court documents, Bowman admitted that Johnson-Jetter was “using her apartment to sell drugs from the past three months.”

In addition, she said, the alleged arrangement allowed her the chance to earn money for rent by also dealing drugs that Johnson-Jetter supplied.

She pleaded guilty to felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance — heroin, before Judge Timothy McCune.

Assistant District Attorney Terri Shultz informed the court that the plea was a straight plea, or one with no agreement as far as sentencing recommendations, leaving the sentence solely up to the judge at the time of sentencing, which is scheduled for Oct. 26.

The charge stems from a Nov. 4, 2016, incident at the Butler Township apartment, when agents with the Butler County Drug Task Force served a search warrant on the residence and turned up 69 stamp bags of suspected heroin and 16 baggies of suspected crack in the raid.

While serving the warrant, officers found the defendant carrying $693 in cash, documents said.

Bowman also was initially charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, which were withdrawn as part of the plea.

She was arraigned and released on her own recognizance.

Johnson-Jetter also was arrested and charged that day with four felony counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.

He was released after posting $50,000 bail and is currently awaiting further court proceedings.
