West Forest simply had no answer for Martina Burk.

Moniteau's sophomore pitcher hurled a no-hitter, allowing just two base runners on a pair of walks, in the Warriors softball team's 10-1 road win Monday afternoon.

"Her changeup was pretty effective today," said Moniteau coach Danny Hindman. "It was a bit different from the one she's used to throwing, but she had good location today.

"There was also some nice defensive work behind her."

The Warriors (14-3) committed no errors behind Burk, who had pitched only a handful of times this season before Monday's start.

She also added two singles, a double and an RBI at the plate.

Krista Chiappini pitched a three-hitter, striking out seven, walking none and added a pair of singles in Grove City's 10-0, six-inning triumph over Oil City.

Tara Walmsley added a pair of hits and three RBI.

Shenae White struck out six in seven innings, but she shouldered the loss in Slippery Rock's 6-3 loss to Hickory.
