ABBEY BASTA (Slippery Rock) was named Presidents' Athletic Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week. The Westminster College sophomore shattered the school record in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1 minute, 4.55 seconds at the Westminster Invitational. The previous record was 1:05.35.Basta also won the 100 hurdles with a time of 15.64 and ran a leg of the 400 relay that set a school record with a time of 48.70.•

MATT ADAMS (Slippery Rock University) was named PSACWest Baseball Player of the Week. The sophomore first baseman-catcher batted .579 (11 of 19) with nine runs scored, 11 RBI, a double and three homers in six games for the SRU baseball team.
