CRANBERRY TWP — Zumba enthusiasts will raise money from 10 a.m. to noon May 14 at the Cranberry Township Community Center, 2525 Rochester Road.
The event will benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Greater Cranberry Township.

CRANBERRY TWP — The Cranberry Public Library, 2525 Rochester Road, will welcome local author Annette Dashofy from 6 to 8 p.m. May 17.
Dashofy will discuss her books, “Circle of Influence,” “Lost Legacy,” “Bridges Burned” and her newest title, “With a Vengeance.”
She will sign copies of her books after the event and copies of her titles will be available to purchase. Only cash and checks will be accepted.

FAIRVIEW TWP — The annual cleanup day for Fairview Township residents will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 21 at the township park, 1571 Hooker Road, Karns City.
Hazardous materials, tires, electronics, computers, televisions and appliances will not be accepted.

[naviga:h3]Jennings Center has science event[/naviga:h3]
BRADY TWP — The Jennings Environmental Education Center will host a citizen science investigation event for home schooling families on May 25.
The event, called Homeschool CSI: PA Mammal Atlas, will show how families can contribute to scientific research through observing and photographing mammal activity.
The cost is $3 per person, and the event will be from 9 a.m. to noon on May 25.
Registration and payment are required by May 20. Families can register at www.events.dcnr.pa.gov or by calling the center at 724-794-6011.
