1:25 p.m. Thursday — A Chevrolet BZR driven by James Crooks, 59, of Prospect and a 2006 Chrysler LXC driven by Norie Rearick, 65, of Butler collided at Renaissance and Hansen avenues.3:29 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Brenda Kelminsky of Butler hit a parked 2004 GMCTruck owned by Margarita Protopopov, also of Butler, on East Patterson Street.
8:30 p.m. Tuesday — An unknown car struck the 1997 Toyota Corolla owned by Anna Black of Prospect in the St. Christophers Church parking lot.1:45 a.m. Friday — A 1997 Jeep Cherokee had moderate front end damage after it left the road and crashed into a group of signs and a flower bed on Route 268 along the Parker City-Hovey Township line in Armstrong County. The Jeep's driver left the scene and is unknown.2:18 a.m. Friday — Merle Graham, 52, of Fenelton lost control of his car after failing to make a curve on Fenelton Road in Donegal Township and crossed the shoulder, striking the embankment and causing the 1999 Volkswagen Jetta to overturn onto its driver's side about 15 feet off the road. State police cited Graham for a lane traffic violation and failure to report an accident to police.2:05 a.m. Saturday — Michael A. Vantine, 23, of Butler was arrested for DUI after being stopped for a traffic violation on Kittanning Street in Butler.11:45 p.m. Wednesday — An unknown person attempted to break into an apartment at 210 Robinson Road in Hovey Township, Armstrong County. The person fled after the alarm went off.2:25 a.m. Thursday — A 2006 Hyundai owned by Kristen Baselj of Grove City had damage to its hood after Michael Armentrout, 21, of Langhorne, Pa., jumped on to it in the parking lot of South Rock Apartments in Slippery Rock Township.3:50 a.m. Saturday — An unknown person broke into Ganters Market on Route 68 in Oakland Township by smashing out a rear window. Once inside, the person stole about $80 in raffle ticket money before fleeing undetected after setting off an alarm. Police are investigating.3:50 a.m. Saturday — Molly Fenton, 21, of Butler was arrested for DUI after being stopped for a traffic violation at the intersection of West Cunningham and Washington streets in Butler.
Wednesday — Someone damaged two ATVs owned by Brian Wolfe, 41, of Perry Township between Monday and Wednesday. Police are also investigating a report of someone entering the basement and spray painting threats on the basement wall.
4:54 p.m. Thursday — Gregg Reitano, 38, of Worthington had minor injuries after Richard Kough, 29, of Elderton lost control of his 2000 Dodge Neon and collided with Reitano's 1992 Ford F-150 truck on Main Street in Worthington. Kough's passenger, Curtis Shaffer, 32, no address given, also had injuries and was taken to ACMH Hospital. During the investigation, the police discovered Kough was driving under the influence of alcohol.
