11:51 p.m. Wednesday — Brandy Lynn Lane, 20, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence after her car struck a garage on South Chestnut Street. Police said Lane did not stop after the crash.In addition to DUI, Lane faces charges of DUI while a minor, minors prohibited from driving with alcohol in their system, underage drinking, furnishing alcohol to minors, accidents involving damage to unattended property, and driving without insurance.Police said Amber Gibson, 21, of Butler, a passenger, was also cited for furnishing alcohol to minors.9:05 a.m. Wednesday — An Allegheny County trucker is awaiting extradition to Florida following his arrest for a hit-and-run crash in Butler.City police said Joseph Kaufman, 61, of Bridgeville was driving a tractor-trailer that struck a utility pole at West Penn and North Bluff streets. Police said Kaufman drove away but was stopped at Chestnut and Jefferson streets.Arresting officers learned Kaufman was wanted on a fugitive warrant from Florida, on a charge of failure of a career offender to register. He was placed in the Butler County Prison without bond, pending extradition proceedings.Butler police also cited Kaufman for accidents involving damage to unattended property and careless driving.
9:15 p.m. Wednesday — Jason Andrew Wulff, 19, of Chicora was arrested on drug-related charges behind the Point Plaza shopping center. Police said they found Wulff in a vehicle with suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.Asearch of the vehicle turned up 30 grams of suspected marijuana, a scale, pipe, plastic baggies and more than $300.Wulff was arraigned on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $15,000 bond.
10 p.m. Thursday — A motorcycle driven by Jeremy Brinkley, 20, of Coraopolis, Allegheny County, crashed on Route 173 in Slippery Rock Township.Police said Brinkley was treated for undisclosed injured at ACMHHospital in Kittanning. He was cited for careless driving and driving without a valid license.9:10 p.m. Thursday — An unknown driver of a blue Oldsmobile Ciera struck the rear of a parked pickup truck and did not stop following the crash on Route 268 in Parker, Armstrong County. Gerald Bisson Jr. of Parker owns the pickup.Sunday — Someone between 7 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday threw rocks through a number of greenhouse roof window panes at Schnur's Greenhouse in summit Township.Saturday — Police charged Brian Donevitch, 18, of Saxonburg after they discovered suspected marijuana in a book bag he left outside a Jefferson Township convenience store. Donevitch is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
5 p.m. Saturday — Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Franklin Road near Schar Road. The driver of the vehicle, Robert Fox, 61, of Fenelton told police he could not remember anything from the accident. A witness told police the vehicle began to swerve and left the road and rolled over. No injuries were reported.
