12:30 a.m. today - A car driven by Tashina Ironcloud, 21, of Butler struck a guardrail at Glenwood Way and Lakeshore Drive in Center Township. Police noted that alcohol was an apparent factor in the crash but it was not known if Ironcloud was arrested for driving under the influence.1:16 p.m. Wednesday - Police are seeking the driver of an unidentified, black Nissan Pathfinder who caused a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. The unknown driver did not stop following the collision.Police said the crash occurred when the Pathfinder struck the rear of a car driven by Timothy Lowry, 23, of Morgantown, W.Va. Lowry's car, in turn, was pushed into the rear of a car driven by Linda Moser, 58, of Wexford.1:57 a.m. Wednesday - Lesya Mazzoleni, 22, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a two-car crash at Route 108 and Branchton Road in Slippery Rock Township.Police said Mazzoleni failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a car driven by David Cook, 46, of Slippery Rock. Mazzoleni and a passenger in her car, Tara Ley, 22, suffered minor injuries. Both were wearing seat belts.Monday - A 3-year-old Jack Russell terrier and the dog's four puppies were taken between 3 and 9 a.m. from a yard on Evans City Road in Forward Township. The Old Order Amish Mennonite Christian Brethren Church owns the dog and her 3-week-old puppies.
