BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:

Ryan P. Advent, 19, of Cooperstown, Venango County, waived to court charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and driving without adequate lights, filed Aug. 21 by state police.

David F. Bemben, 54, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, filed Aug. 15 by Butler Township police.

Donna Digiacomo, 39, of Eau Claire waived to court charges of retail theft and possession of a controlled substance, filed Sept. 2 by Butler Township police.

John Fetter, 42, of Butler pleaded guilty to charges of disorderly conduct and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia filed Aug. 4 by Butler Township police.

Tina M. Gibson, 31, of Butler waived to court a charge of retail theft, filed Sept. 2 by Butler Township police.

Deborah K. Krivak, 48, of Butler waived to court charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed Aug. 26 by Butler Township police.

Roxann Ligus, 53, of Butler waived to court two counts of simple assault as well as charges of reckless endangerment and harassment filed Sept. 8 by Butler Township police.

Keith E. Mahood, 23, of Slippery Rock was held for court on five counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Aug. 11 by Butler Township police.

Betsy J. Goehring Manson, 66, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of retail theft, filed July 17 by Butler Township police. Manson was ordered to pay $191.50 in fines and court costs.

John R. Merritt, 51, of Butler was held for court on four counts of bad checks, filed Aug. 11 by Butler Township police.

Cynthia A. Sadler, 45, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and driving with invalid registration, filed July 3 by Butler Township police.

Zachary P. Vavro, 23, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI and driving too fast for conditions, filed Aug. 18 by Butler Township police.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Krystal L. Bowser, 23, of Lyndora waived to court charges of trespass and theft, filed Aug. 9.Derrick Johnson, 20, of Butler waived to court charges of trespass, theft and criminal mischief, filed Aug. 9.Tyler J. Prokay, 24, of Parker waived to court charges of aggravated assault, three counts each of reckless and simple assault, driving under the influence, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and criminal mischief, carrying a firearm without a permit, and illegally carrying a loaded weapon, filed Sept. 10.Rose Mary Shay, 51, of East Brady was held for court on a charge of retail theft, filed June 30.
