Donald Glenn Kammerdeiner
Donald Glenn Kammerdeiner, 86, of the Golden LivingCenter, Clarion, peacefully passed on Saturday to meet his Savior.
Born Nov. 26, 1924, he was the son of Walter and Nellie Kammerdeiner.
He was a member of the Grace Fellowship Baptist Church, Clarion.
Before retiring, Donald was a mechanic who had been employed at establishments in the Sarver area. After leaving the workforce, Donald moved to the Sligo area, where he once had lived.
Donald is survived by four sisters, Louise Botzer of Strattanville, Emma Jean Gathers and her husband, Jim, of Clarion, Joan Peters of Sligo and Martha Kammerdeiner of Mars. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, Carolyn Stewart of Knox, Beverly Greenawalt of Rimersburg, Gordon Myers of Greensprings, Ohio, Peggy Corte and her husband, Dave, of Strattanville, Jean Smith and her husband, Gregg, of Clarion, Don Gathers of Veneta, Ore., Kris Morley and her husband, Tom, of College Station, Texas, Dave Peters of Sligo, Dennis Smith and his wife, Lynn, of Butler, Robin Smith and his wife, Chrystal, of Huron, Ohio, Vernon Stewart and his wife, Joni, of Sarver, Rick Burris and his wife, Estelle, of Saxonburg. and Wade Burris of Rayland, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers-in-law, Francis Hindman and her husband, Dave, Beatrice Myers and her husband, Ivan, Mildred Botzer and her husband, Robert, Earl Peters, and Glenn Botzer, as well as three nephews, Rodney Botzer, Jeff Botzer and Terry Botzer.
<B>KAMMERDEINER </B>— The family of Donald Glenn Kammerdeiner, who died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Varner Funeral Home </B>in Sligo. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Mark Swonger of Asera Care Hospice of Brookville officiating. Interment will be in Mount Airy Memorial Cemetery and Mausoleum, Natrona Heights.Memorials and donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
