Beck

Elvie Rodell Beck, 82, of 515 Palo Alto Drive, Perry Township, Lawrence County, passed away Tuesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Born in West View, Oct. 18, 1928, she was the daughter of the late James and Ida Beatty Malone.

She married Robert R. Beck on Aug. 14, 1948, and he preceded her in death July 19, 1999.

Mrs. Beck was a member of the Ellwood City Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She enjoyed gardening.

Mrs. Beck is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Sue Beck of Connoquenessing; her daughter, Jeanine Beck of Perry Township; two grandchildren, Nathan and Hannah Beck; a sister, Ida Stewart of Gibsonia; and a brother, Frank Malone of San Jacinto, California.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert R. Beck Jr.; and four brothers, Harry, Jim, Brice and Louis Malone.

Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory</B>, 97 Grim Ave., Ellport.
