Rita J. Wagner, 43, of Summit Township died Tuesday morning at her home.

Born Nov. 4, 1967, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Snyder) Kriley.

She had worked as a nurse's aide for the Visiting Nurses Association in Butler. Prior to that she worked for Smith's Grove Campground.

Rita was a member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman, where she was very active in the parish, was an Eucharistic minister and was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order.

Surviving are her husband, Edward T. Wagner, who she married Aug. 28, 1988; two daughters, Rachel Wagner and Jesse Wagner, both at home; eight brothers, Frank (Linda) Kriley of Fenelton, Don Kriley of Butler, Bob (Barb) Kriley of Chicora, Dave (Leah) Kriley of Fenelton, Larry (Diane) Kriley of North Washington, Ed Kriley of Butler, Bill Kriley of Allegheny Valley and Vince (Maryann) Kriley of Butler.; six sisters, Mary (Dave) Plofchan, Betty (Steve) Krampert and Gert (Jack) Craig, all of Butler; Peg Bachman of Cabot and Sandy (Paul) Bergbigler and Lucy Kriley, all of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Kathy.

<B>WAGNER</B> — Friends of Rita J. Wagner, who died Tuesday, June 28, 2011, will be received at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 821 Herman Road, Herman. The Rev. Mark Carter will officiate. Internment will follow in the St. Mary Parish Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the Rita’s Angels Fund, c/o First Niagara Bank, 364 Center Ave. Butler, PA 16001.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
