11:05 p.m. Monday — An undisclosed amount of money was stolen in a burglary at the Hansen Avenue Barber Shop. Police said the unknown burglars broke the front door window to get inside the store.Sunday — A48-inch Samsung television and an Xbox 360 video game system were stolen between 12:30 and 2:40 a.m. in a burglary at a Bessemer Avenue apartment. Police said it appeared that a front door was forced open in the break-in,2:54 p.m. Jan. 10 — A15-year-old boy was arrested in connection with a fight at the Butler Intermediate High School that left two school police officers with minor injuries.The boy, who police did not identify, is charged in juvenile court with aggravated assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct and three counts of harassment.Police said three other students were involved in the fight, and also will be cited for harassment.

5:45 p.m. Tuesday — Asport utility vehicle driven by William Dunmire Jr., 24, of Ford City crashed into a guardrail on ice-covered Route 422 in Clearfield Township.4:55 p.m. Tuesday — No injuries were reported in a three-vehicle crash on Route 356 in Summit Township.Police said the crash occurred when a car driven by James Gall Jr., 33, of Butler struck another car, driven, by Brian Payment, 46, of Butler, which had stopped to make a turn. After that collision, a car driven by Michael McCaskey, 34, of New Kensington, Westmoreland County, collided with Gall's vehicle.Gall, police said, was cited for driving with a suspended license, careless driving and not wearing a seat belt. Apassenger in Gall's car, Lisa Gall, 37, of Butler, was cited for permitting Gall to driver her car, which had no insurance.10:03 a.m. Tuesday — Richard J. Thompson, 56, of Boyers was injured when the SUVhe was driving skidded on ice, crashed into a mailbox and utility pole, and rolled onto its side along Route 308 in Marion Township. Thompson was treated at Grove City Medical Center for minor injuries.1:31 a.m. Tuesday — Renee Blank, 34, of Renfrew was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at New Castle Street and 8th Avenue.1:44 a.m. Saturday — Michael Sosigian, 33, of Karns City was arrested on a bench warrant for an unrelated case after police spotted him allegedly urinating in the Days Inn parking lot on Route 8 South.Police said Sosigian was searched and found with suspected marijuana in his pocket. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on the warrant.Additionally, he is charged with possession of a small amount or marijuana and drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

3:40 a.m. Tuesday — Acar driven by Matthew J. Price, 28, of Ford City crashed into an embankment and hit a tree along Route 28 in North Buffalo Township. Police said Price was cited for careless driving.7:21 a.m. Friday — Asport utility vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Sarver girl, who police did not identify, struck a ditch and embankment on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township. Police said the girl faces a traffic citation for driving too fast for conditions.

3:50 p.m. Tuesday — Apickup truck driven by Patrick Payne, 50, of Emlenton slid into a mailbox and ditch along snow-covered Route 208 in Barkeyville. Payne was treated at Grove City Medical Center for minor injuries.
