René N. Zarnick
In memory of René N. Zarnick, July 28, 1969 - April 9, 2006
As Spring peeks its profile over the shoulders of the bitter Winter months,
We are overwhelmed with a medley of melancholy memories,
Memories of a lost yet never forgotten loved one.
Memories of a spirit whose light could contest even the brightest of days,
Yet during a time such as this, we are embodied by the dull grays
That can only surface during the most unsettling rainstorms,
Your time here on Earth cut short like the sun smothered by dark clouds,
And although these feelings seem unbearable at moments,
There is no denying that when the sun shines, and its bursts of rays break on through
We are reminded of a beautiful smile, a beautiful person and a beautiful life.
