9 p.m. Wednesday — A known suspect allegedly stole a 32-inch TV from a home in the 200 block of Eastwood Drive in Summit Township. The value of the television is $1,340. Police did not release the name of the 32-year-old male suspect.2:55 p.m. Wednesday — Jacob Ellenberger, 19, of Chicora was charged with burglary after he allegedly stole 29 prescription pills from Gary Ellenberger, 51, of Chicora at a home in the 300 block of Cherry Road, Fairview Township.11:45 a.m. Wednesday — Rickard H. Zedreck, 20, of Hilliards reported he left his shotgun in the woods after hunting off Route 308 in Cherry Township. When he returned to the site, the gun was gone.Wednesday — Frank Cappelli, 61, of Pittsburgh is facing charges of possession of marijuana following a vehicle inspection at Iron Mountain along Branchton Road in Cherry Township.The search was conducted per regulation of the business.7:38 a.m. May 1 — No one was injured in a three-car accident along Route 422, just west of Old Route 422, in Franklin Township.The vehicles were driven by Kurt W. Speicher, 28, of Portersville, Larry A. Pagley, 66, of Ellwood City, and Gregory M. Boston, 24, of New Castle.Speicher and Pagley were cited for following too closely.
5:27 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Michael J. Smith, 35, of Oakham, Mass., hit a concrete barrier along Interstate 80 near mile marker 44 in Allegheny Township.Police said Smith became distracted and his car veered off the side of the road. Neither Smith nor two young children in the car were injured. He was cited for a traffic violation.
