HARRISVILLE — A dance will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Harrisville Fire Hall to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The event will include a Chinese auction. Music will be provided by Park Street Sound. Admission is $10 for individuals or $15 for each couple.

Proceeds will be donated to St. Jude's in memory of Benjamin Rihel of Slippery Rock, who died at age 10 of systemic mastocytosis.

GIBSONIA — A sale and auction of new and gently used formal wear will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at The Washington Place at St. Barnabas, 5847 Meridian Road.Admission is $2. Proceeds will benefit the Pennies for Patients campaign.

BUTLER TWP — Homeacre Christian Academy, in cooperation with area fundamental churches, will host its last family skate of the year from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Skate Castle, 182 New Castle Road.The event includes traditional skating music and a 15-minute devotional break.Bingo fundraiser slated at senior highThe Parent Teacher Organization of McQuistion Elementary School will host a basket bingo fundraiser at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the cafeteria of Butler Senior High School.Tickets are $25 each and include a catered lunch and 20 games.

FREEPORT — The Freeport Library is collecting donations for its spring garage sale to be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 21.Presale will be open during library hours Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays beginning this Thursday.Donations can be taken to the library during normal business hours.Montessori school offers enrollmentButler Montessori School, 230 E. EMLENTON — A bingo event will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Emlenton Bingo Hall, Main Street, to benefit Jerry Lowers, who is slated to have a kidney transplant.Doors will open at noon.
