Thomas J. Scott Sr.
Thomas J. Scott Sr., 83, of 130 Morton Ave. died early Saturday at ACMH Hospital, Kittanning.
Born March 8, 1923, in Wallsville, Lackawanna County, he was a son of John T. and Gertrude E. Kline Scott.
He was a World War II Army veteran and had worked at Renick's Tree Farm for 35 years until his retirement in 1992.
Surviving are five sons, Thomas J. Scott Jr. of Kittanning, Larry L. Scott Sr. of Butler, Raymond C. Scott Sr. of Parker, Edward E. Scott Sr. of Butler, and David B. Scott Sr. of North Washington; two daughters, Lillian L. and Debra A. Ealy, both of Eau Claire; 30 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
His wife, Dolores Ann Haley Scott, whom he married Dec. 17, 1949, died June 30, 1994. He also was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and six sisters.
<B>SCOTT </B>— Friends of Thomas J. Scott Sr., who died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St.Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
