BRADYS BEND, Armstrong County — Trinity Reformed Church, 887 State Route 68, will host a bake sale and yard sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday.The sale will feature homemade apple dumplings. After 1 p.m. Saturday, shoppers may fill a bag for $1.
MERCER, Mercer County — A bike cruise-in and antique appraisal will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at McCandless Ford, 8416 Sharon-Mercer Road. There will be a 50/50 drawing, Chinese auction, raffle, music and food. Appraisals will be by antique dealer Terry Reeher. Three items may be appraised for $5; proceeds benefit Relay For Life.
ZELIENOPLE — A free seminar on VA pensions will be held at 3 and 7 p.m. June 1 in Scholl Auditorium on the campus of Passavant Retirement Community, 401 S. Main St. The seminar will be led by Joseph McCarthy, author of "Checks for Vets," a guidebook to help wartime service veterans and their surviving spouse receive VA pension to pay for long term care. ADAMS TWP — The Reality Tour drug prevention program will be held at 6 p.m. June 10 at the Adams Township Municipal Building, 690 Valencia Road. JEFFERSON TWP — His Kids Christian School will hold a garage sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the facility at 650 Saxonburg Road, formerly Jefferson Elementary School. Furniture, clothes, exercise equipment, toys, books, movies and more will be on sale. Proceeds benefit His Kids Christian School.
HARMONY — Lifesteps and Giant Eagle will host Step Out for Lifesteps, a regional walk-a-thon fundraiser May 22. In Butler County, the two-mile walk starts at Seneca Valley High School. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and the course opens at 10 a.m.Proceeds support Lifesteps' Family Caring Fund.
