State Police, Butler8:35 p.m. Aug. 26 — A motorcycle driven by Blayne McGuirk, 23, of Parker hit a pole along Kittanning Pike in Allegheny Township before going down a grassy hill. McGuirk was taken by Emlenton EMS to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The driver was cited for not staying inside the lane.

State Police, New Castle1:56 a.m. Aug. 20 — An unknown driver did not stop after his car traveled through Ben Franklin’s Beer Barn and hit a sign belonging to the business along Route 422 just east of Stoner Drive in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The car also struck a billboard post.Police said a surveillance camera captured the crash on video. The suspect appears to be a white man, tall with a large build. The car is described as a gray or metallic gray sedan. The vehicle should have heavy front-end damage.Anyone with information is asked to call 724-598-2211.
