BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE
Music for the 10:45 a.m. Sunday service at Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, will be provided by Gordon Thompson. The guest speaker for the worship service will be the Rev. Barry Mohney, retired Nazarene minister from Butler.
A Singspiration will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday.
The Rev. Calhoon and his wife will attend the General Assembly of the Church of the Nazarene, Monday through June 30 in Indianapolis. Two general superintendents will be elected for four-year terms by the legislative body of the assembly.
CHRIST COMMUNITY U.M.
Members of Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will be assisting in the Island Bike Rally at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Island Playground.
The trustees have scheduled a workday from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Work will include clean up, repairs and tree and shrub trimming. Coffee and donuts will be provided.
Summer Bible study for youth will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Youth and families of the church will attend Creation, a Christian music and camping festival, from Wednesday to July 2.
COVENANT PRESBY
The food cupboard of Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., is requesting donations of dried beans for the month of June. Baskets to receive donations are in the Jefferson Street front entrance hall.
An offering of loose change will be received at the 10 a.m. Sunday service.
FAITH FELLOWSHIP
A fellowship picnic will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faithway-Fared Drive. Participants should take a picnic-style food and drink to share and outdoor or board games to play afterwards.
The Rev. Rodney Hibbler of Tunica, Miss., will be the guest speaker at the Sunday service.
Sonshine Children's Church will be held during 10:30 a.m. Sunday services. The program is open to children age 3 through kindergarten-age.

NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES
Missionary Mark Geppert will speak at the 10 a.m. Sunday service at New Life Christian Ministries, Knoch School Auditorium, 345 Knoch Road, Saxonburg. Geppert, who has been involved in mission work for more than 20 years, has served in Nepal, India, Vietnam, Poland, Germany, Russia and China. He is currently president of the Southeast Asia Prayer Center.
The ministry staff will not meet on June 30.
Son-LIFE Sunday school is on summer break on June 26, July 3 and 10.

The youth will hold a bake sale before and after the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service at North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Ext. Proceeds will benefit the upcoming mission trip.

The youth group of St. John's Reformed Church, Route 68 and Benbrook Road, will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the church's outdoor shelter. A car wash will also be held if weather permits.
The Brush Creek Believers will begin the summer concert series at 7 p.m. Sunday in the outdoor shelter. Strawberry shortcake dessert will follow.

St. John's United Church of Christ, 501 E. Main St., Evans City, will hold its annual church picnic Sunday at the home of the Jones family. An outdoor service will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a potluck lunch.

ST. PETER'S EPISCOPAL

Members of the Life Teen Youth Group of St. Richard Roman Catholic Church, 3841 Dickey Road, Gibsonia, will attend a youth conference from Friday through Sunday at Franciscan University, Steubenville, Ohio.
Social times are scheduled following the 5 p.m.Mass on Saturday and after all the Sunday Masses this week to honor director of music, Ken Hand, who is leaving after 5½ years of service to the church.
The second session of altar server training is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday. The alternate time is 6:30 p.m. July 7. Those wishing to become altar servers must attend one of these sessions.
TRINITY LUTHERAN
The youth of Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Dr., will host a car wash from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Wendy's Restaurant at the Clearview Mall, Center Township.
The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be offered at the 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. Sunday services. Eucharistic ministers will take Communion to the homebound members of the congregation following each service.
The ConfirCamp for students in seventh grade will be begin Monday at Camp Lutherlyn.
A study group, using excerpts from the book "Real Faith for Real Life," will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday evenings beginning June 26th in Fellowship Hall.

Volunteers from Trinity Presbyterian Church, 107 Staley Ave., will serve at the Covenant Food Cupboard from 9 a.m. to noon Monday. Cereal is the food item for June for the cupboard.
A church picnic will be held on at 6 p.m. Friday. The event will mark the completion of vacation Bible school.
The Sacrament of Communion will be celebrated Sunday.
A farewell luncheon honoring the Rev. Dennis Molnar and his family will follow the Sunday service. This will be his last Sunday as pastor at Trinity Presbyterian.

The Rev. John Rickloff will be the guest speaker at the Sunday service at Valencia Presbyterian Church, 80 Sterrett St., Valencia.

A closing program for vacation Bible school participants will be held at 7:45 p.m. Friday at White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church, 102 Shannon Road, Renfrew. The program is open to church members and family and friends of the participants.
