Tuesday — Police are investigating the weekend theft of a large amount of construction tools from Pinecrest Court. The tools, valued at more than $3,600, include framing and roofing nailers, miter saws, hammer drills and other saws.

8:46 p.m. Tuesday — Cars driven by James Byers, no age given, and Troy Wroblewski, no age given, both of Butler, collided in the Clearview Mall parking lot in Center Township. Wroblewski, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.6:30 p.m. Tuesday — Acar driven by Jason Masello, 24, of New Castle crashed after hitting a bed liner on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township. The car rolled over several times. Masello, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken with unknown injuries to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.2:20 p.m. Tuesday — A17-year-old boy, who police did not identify, is charged in an altercation at a Main Street home in Karns City. The boy is charged in juvenile court with simple assault and harassment.Police did not release any information about the assault, only identifying the victims as Linda Best, 45; and Ashley Custer, 21.7:30 a.m. Tuesday — Apickup truck driven by a 17-year-old Butler boy, who police did not identify, and a car driven by Rebecca Novak, 26, of Butler collided at Route 173 and Duffy Road in Brady Township.The collision spun Novak's car into a Peterbilt truck driven by Edward Kuhns, 60, of Rural Valley, Armstrong County. Novak, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.Tuesday — Adark blue, two-door 1990 GMCJimmy was stolen between 6:50 and 9:35 p.m. from the parking lot of St. Louis Catholic Church on State Street in West Sunbury. William Brookbank of Clay Township owns the vehicle, which bears the Pennsylvania license plate GDM2439Monday — Apurse was taken between 3:30 and 8:30 p.m. from a car parked at Schnur's Personal Care Home in Summit Township. Delores Earley of Chicora owns the purse.

2:37 a.m. Nov. 28 — Ralph M. Kendall, 37, of Tarentum was charged with driving under the influence, making false reports to law enforcement, reckless driving and driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop on North Pike Road.10:45 p.m. Nov. 27 — Scott A. Crawford, 34, of Saxonburg was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop on North Pike Road.10:06 p.m. Nov. 25 — Brian Pastoria, 24, of Freeport was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop on Ekastown Road.
