8:35 p.m. Tuesday - Timothy Dane Bauer, 57, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection sticker following a traffic stop on South Chestnut Street.10:52 a.m. Friday - Melissa Tincha of Butler reported the theft of her son's $100 Razor scooter from her front porch at 505 McKinley Ave. sometime overnight.

4:55 p.m. Friday - A car driven by Tammy Kline, 37, of Evans City collided with an unknown blue vehicle on Route 38 at the Hooker Road intersection in Concord Township. Police are looking for the driver of the unidentified vehicle, who did not stop. The other vehicle drifted over the center line and hit Kline's car. Anyone with information about the accident should call police at 724-284-8100.5:04 p.m. Friday - A vehicle driven by Adam Hileman, 24, of Ford City collided with a vehicle driven by Nigel Baker, 23, of Tannersville on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township. Hileman's vehicle, which was northbound, went into the median and turned southbound when it struck the passenger side of Baker's vehicle. Although both vehicles were severely damaged, Hileman sustained only a minor injury. Baker and his passenger, Michael Thompson, 20, of Pittsburgh weren't injured. All three men were wearing seat belts. A citation for careless driving is pending against Hileman.Wednesday - Melissa Troyan, 36, of East Butler reported the theft of her purse from her vehicle while it was parked at the Ponderosa Restaurant at the Clearview Mall in Center Township between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. The thief broke the driver's door window to gain access to the vehicle.Friday - Ron Kingerski, 62, of Wampum reported the theft of several power tools from a tool trailer at a construction site at 253 Hofnagel Road in Muddy Creek Township between 5 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday.

7:24 p.m. Thursday - William Seeker of Kennerdell was traveling on Route 208 about 1.5 mile east of Barkeyville in Venango County when his vehicle struck a telephone pole before leaving the scene. Seeker was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.
