Dorothy DeSantis, 82, of New Port Richey, Fla., died Tuesday.

She was born in Lyndora, the daughter of Julia and Stefan Druga.

Dorothy was very active in Right to Life. She was a past president of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, and both she and her husband were very much involved with the Knights and their church.

She is survived by her two sons, Vincent and Tony DeSantis; her granddaughters, Katie and Alicyn DeSantis of Minneapolis, Minn.; her sisters, Helen Leavitt and Margaret Jarecki of Butler, and Evelyn Prokopchak of Phoenix, Ariz.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rudy; her daughter, Cindy Lou; her brothers, Nick and Mike Druga; and her sisters, Mary Mudrick, Julia Sandloop and Anne Tanis.

<B>DESANTIS</B> — Viewing and services for Dorothy DeSantis, who died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, already were held. Arrangements were handled by the <B>Faupel Funeral Home</B>, New Port Ritchey, Fla.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be sent to the Hospice of New Port Richey.
