Katherine Molnar, 83, of Mars died Friday in the LAS St. John Specialty Care Center, Mars.

She was born in Morgantown, W.Va., on June 13, 1924.

Mrs. Molnar was a member of St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church in Mars, the Christian Mothers at the church and the Mars AARP.

Surviving are one daughter, Margaret Woods of Butler; three sons, Joseph Molnar and his wife, Guesun, of Mars,Richard Molnar and his wife, Beverly, of Pittsburgh, and Mark Molnar and his wife, Jill, of Saxonburg; two brothers; one sister; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph V. Molnar, and one son, Wayne Molnar.
