CRANBERRY TWP - These cases recently came before District Judge Kelley Streib:

Raymond Churilla, 39, of Seven Fields waived his case to court. He was charged March 8 by the Cranberry Township police with criminal attempt to acquire or obtain possession of a controlled substance and harassment.

Charles Robert Short Jr., 52, of New Brighton, Beaver County, waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 28 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to keep right.

Michael R. Lewandowski, 29, of Seven Fields waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 22 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with no rear lights and driving an unregistered vehicle.

John Whitehead, 38, of Fombell, Beaver County, waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 22 by Cranberry Township police with writing bad checks.

Samuel W. Osterwise, 33, of Pittsburgh waived his case to court. He was charged Jan. 11 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving, driving at safe speed and failure to notify change in address.

Jason M. Moran, 29, of Rochester, Beaver County, waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 14 by the Cranberry Township police with theft of property lost, mislaid or delivered by mistake and receiving stolen property.

Brandon E. Cannon, no age given, of Beaver Falls, Beaver County, had his case held to court. He was charged Jan. 19 by the Butler County detectives with possession of a controlled substance, two counts of manufacturing/delivery/possession with the intent to manufacture or deliver narcotics, conspiracy to commit manufacturing/delivery/possession with the intent to manufacture or deliver of narcotics, and carrying a loaded weapon.

Adam Gregory Cinna, 20, of North Irwin, Pa., waived his three separate cases to court. He was charged March 3 by Cranberry Township police with 10 counts of receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm with an altered manufacturer's identification and altering or obliteration marks of identification.

He was charged on March 9 by the Cranberry Township police with arson to personal property exceeding $5,000, conspiracy to commit arson, conspiracy to commit burglary, burglary, theft by unlawful taking, three counts of conspiracy to discharge a firearm into an occupied structure, three counts of criminal mischief and two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure.

He was also charged March 22 by the Cranberry Township police with two counts of theft by unlawful taking, two counts of receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking.

Shawn Thomas Turner, 20, of Fombell, Beaver County, waived his three separate cases to court.

He was charged March 5 by the Cranberry Township police with arson to personal property exceeding $5,000 and conspiracy to commit arson.

He was charged on March 9 by Cranberry Township police with conspiracy to discharge a firearm into an occupied structure, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and criminal mischief.

He was also charged on March 22 by the Cranberry Township police with two counts of theft by unlawful taking, two counts or receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking.

EVANS CITY - These cases recently came before District Judge Wayne Seibel:Mark Francis Nardulli, 47, of Fombell, Beaver County, waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 24 by the Zelienople police with driving under the influence of alcohol.Chris Friedman, 21, of Zelienople waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 28 by the Jackson Township police with receiving stolen property and theft from a motor vehicle.Brandon W. Scott, 32, of Punxsutawney, Pa., waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 24 by Adams Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with no headlights.Paul L. McCurry, 52, of Valencia had his case held to court. He was charged Feb. 24 by the Adams Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving and speeding.Edward Joseph Miskevich III, 31, of Evans City waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 24 by the state police with corruption of minors.Joshua William Shaffer, 22, of Valencia waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 14 by the Adams Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol and criminal mischief, tampering with property.Jamie Lea Lynn, 20, of Butler waived her case to court. She was charged Feb. 11 by the state police with conspiracy to commit burglary, conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking, conspiracy to commit theft by deception, conspiracy to receive stolen property, theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception and receiving stolen property.

WORTH TWP - District Judge Lawrence Silvis recently heard these cases:James E. Baker, 44, of Grove City had his case held for court. He was charged by state police with driving under the influence, disregard for a traffic lane and careless driving on Dec. 28 on George Junior Road in Pine Township.Courtenay H. McGuire, 39, of Sandy Lake had her case held for court. She was charged by state police with driving under the influence, careless driving and failure to use a safety belt system on Feb. 7 on Route 62 in Jackson Township.Patrick F. Stewart, 24, of Grove City had his case held for court. He was charged by Grove City police with identity theft, theft by deception and theft of services on Feb. 19. The charges stem from August 2003 to December 2004 when Stewart opened a credit card account under another name and purchased several items under false pretense.Jermaine K. Hooker, 31, of Grove City waived his case to court. He was charged by state police with possession of drugs with intent to deliver on Feb. 16. The charge stems from an Oct. 1 incident at a residence in Liberty Township. Hooker also pleaded guilty to charges of use, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. He was ordered to pay $744.50 in costs and fines.Traci D. Hooker, 29, of Grove City waived her case to court. She was charged by state police with possession of a controlled substance and possession and use of drug paraphernalia on Feb. 16. The charges stem from incidents that occurred from Oct. 1 to 14 at a residence in Liberty Township. Hooker also pleaded guilty to charges of possession of marijuana and use and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was ordered to pay $344.50 in costs and fines.
