EVANS CITY — District Judge Wayne Seibel recently heard these cases:
Thomas James Mellon Jr., 19, of Butler had his case held for court. He was charged Sept. 19 by Adams Township police with burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, conspiracy to commit burglary, conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking and loitering and prowling at nighttime.
Matthew John Schmitt, 23, of Warrendale, Allegheny County, waived his case to court. He was charged Nov. 1 by Butler County detectives with use-possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit manufacturing-delivery-possession with the intent to manufacture or deliver narcotics.
Sean Douglas Skinner, 30, of Leetsdale, Allegheny County, waived his case to court. He was charged Nov. 1 by Adams Township police with receiving stolen property, fraudulent use-renewal of registration plate, possession or fraudulent display of documents, dealing title and plates of a stolen vehicle and unsworn falsification to law enforcement authorities.
Paul Vincent Kelley, 38, of Callery waived his case to court. He was charged Oct. 19 by the Adams Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving and disregard of traffic lane.
Mark Pinoz, 18, of Evans City waived his case to court. He was charged Oct. 19 by the Jackson Township police with manufacturing-delivery-possession with the intent to manufacture or deliver narcotics, possession of a controlled substance and use-possession of drug paraphernalia.
Joseph D. Huf, 23, of Butler waived his case to court. He was charged Oct. 9 by the Jackson Township police with manufacturing-delivery-possession with the intent to manufacture or deliver narcotics, possession of a controlled substance and use-possession of drug paraphernalia.
Joseph H. Schriver, 56, of Mars had his case held for court. He was charged Oct. 19 by Adams Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to obey turning movement and required signals, careless driving and disregard of traffic lane.
Scott Patrick Bell, 22, of Cranberry Township waived his case to court. He was charged Nov. 1 by the Butler County detectives with manufacturing-delivery-possession with the intent to manufacture or deliver narcotics, possession of a controlled substance, use-possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy to commit manufacturing-delivery-possession with the intent to manufacture or deliver narcotics.
CRANBERRY TWP — District Judge Kelley Streib recently heard these cases:David Murphy, 65, of Erie waived his case to court. He was charged Sept. 13 by Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol.John F. Liebau, Jr., 42, of Zelienople waived his case to court. He was charged Nov. 9 by Cranberry Township police with retail theft and receiving stolen property.William Joseph McNeal, Jr., 49, of Cranberry Township had his case held for court. He was charged Aug. 1 by the Butler County Detectives with possession of a controlled substance and use-possession of drug paraphernalia.Daniel Andrew Hurley, 50, of Bellvue, Allegheny County, waived his case to court. He was charged Oct. 12 by Cranberry Township police with three counts of identity theft, three counts of access device fraud and theft by unlawful taking.David Burns, 49, of Cranberry Township had his case held for court. He was charged Oct. 7 by Cranberry Township police with possession of a controlled substance, manufacturing-delivery-possession with the intent to manufacture or deliver narcotics, use-possession of drug paraphernalia, driving an unregistered vehicle and possession of marijuana.Luigi Scampone, 41, of Plum, Allegheny County, had his case held for court. He was charged Oct. 5 by Cranberry Township police with writing bad checks.
WORTH TWP - District Judge Lawrence Silvis recently heard these cases:Thomas W. Dovey, 19, of 111½ S. Broad St., Grove City, had his case held for court. Grove City police charged Dovey Nov. 1 with arson, criminal conspiracy, insurance fraud, unsworn falsification to authority and false reports to law enforcement authorities.Russell Lucas Hamilton, 18, of 2080 Mercer/Butler Pike, Grove City, had his case held for court. State police from Mercer charged Hamilton Oct. 18 with statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors and indecent assault of a person less than 16 years of age.Raymond Joseph Barkey Jr., 21 Volant had his case held for court. State police in Mercer charged Barkey Oct. 11 with driving under the influence, driving at safe speed and careless driving.John Joseph Chetoka, 46, of Pittsburgh pled guilty to his charges. State police in Mercer charged Chetoka Nov. 10 with false identification to law enforcement officers and attempted intentional possession of a controlled substance. Charges stem from an incident that occurred at the Wal-Mart in Pine Township.
SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:Brian Baird, 33, of Scottdale, Westmoreland County pleaded guilty to a charge of bad checks, filed Sept. 15 by Middlesex Township police. He was ordered to pay $1,529.21 in restitution, fines and court costs.Kathy Baker, 55, of Jackson Township pleaded guilty to a charge of bad checks, filed Sept. 26 by Penn Township police.Albert Elza, 37, of Saxonburg pleaded guilty to charges of disorderly conduct and speeding, filed Aug, 5 by Middlesex Township police. He was ordered to pay $454.50 in fines and court costs.William Gerbac, 41, of Saxonburg pleaded guilty to a charge of bad checks, filed Sept. 22 by Saxonburg police. He was ordered to pay $381.17 in restitution, fines and court costs.Amy Lambert, 30, of Tarentum, Allegheny County, waived to court charges of conspiracy to commit theft, filed Aug. 18 by state police.Heather Mackie, 28, of Gibsonia, Allegheny County, waived to court charges of driving under the influence, filed Sept. 28 by Middlesex Township police.Jibreel Muhammad, 21, of Wilkinsburg, Allegheny County, waived to court charges of possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and four traffic citations, filed Nov. 10 by Buffalo Township police.Alvin Shoop Jr., 50, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of bad checks, filed Sept. 22 by Saxonburg police. He was ordered to pay $628 in restitution, fines and court costs.
