Virginia 'Jean' Holko

Virginia "Jean" Tunder Holko, 80, of Saxonburg, formerly of West Mifflin, went home to the Lord on Sunday.

Born in Duquesne, Dec. 4, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Chonko Tunder.

A former secretary for the Zeno-Fritz Law firm, she was a member of the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, West Mifflin.

She was the beloved wife of the late Andrew Holko.

She is survived by a daughter, Pamela (James) Legin Thompson of Saxonburg; two sons, David (Jama) Holko of St. Lucie, Fla., and Kevin (April Matni) Holko of Lusby, Md.; three grandchildren, Hallie (Ja Marcus) Shepard, Sara A. Levin and Bethany Legin; two step-grandchildren, Jamie Cunningham and Brian Thompson; two step-great-grandchildren, Lucas and Bailey Thompson; and three nieces.

<B>HOLKA</B> — Friends of Virginia (Jean) Tunder Holko, who died Sunday, May 10, 2009, will be received from 1 to 9 p.m. today in the <B>William S. Skovranko Memorial Home</B>, Richford and Commonwealth Avenue, Duquesne. A blessing service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the memorial home and will be followed by Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Friday in the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Grosko as celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, West Mifflin.
